How to Start
MicroBCI. Shield to Measure EEG with NUCLEO-WB55 STMicroelectronics Development Boards & Kit. EEG with STM32.
To start measuring Bio Data with MicroBCI, it is necessary to have the following parts:
-
Power Bank (not more than 10000mAh and output current – 3A)
-
EEG cap
-
8 EEG electrodes (dry or wet) and cables
-
2 clips Electrodes
-
Micro USB cable
Connect the MicroBCI shield to the Nucleo Board, and after that, connect the device to a battery (power supply) and connect the electrodes.
Pay attention to the right connection for MicroBCI and the Nucleo Board.

Full galvanic isolation from the main power supply is required during bio measurement. Total disconnection from any power supply is required, except a 5V battery.
To measure EEG, use an EEG cap kit with dry electrodes (opens in a new tab), wet electrodes (opens in a new tab), or an EMG kit (opens in a new tab).
Connection for the EEG is provided below
