Aura VR
Aura VR is an open-source hardware shield and wearable bio-signal interface designed by PiEEG. It captures real-time biometric and motion data streams—including EMG, EEG, and ECG—and sends them directly into VR, AR, and PC applications.

Key Features
- Motion Tracking & Movement Control: Features an onboard LSM6DS3TR-C 6-axis IMU with an integrated 3D gyroscope and accelerometer, enabling direct motion and head-tracking controls inside virtual environments.
- Muscle-Based Interactions: Captures real-time EMG muscle signals, allowing you to trigger extra skills, gestures, or action inputs in VR without pressing physical buttons, as well as track athletic effort in sports performance applications.
- Orientation Precision: Select hardware revisions include an LIS3MDL 3-axis magnetometer for enhanced rotational orientation accuracy. (Note: Check your specific hardware version for magnetometer inclusion.)
- Electrode Compatibility: Connects to both dry and Ag/AgCl wet electrodes via standard 2.54 mm pin-pitch headers.
